Root Canal Treatment

Mostly root canal treatment is considered to be associated with pain and treatment in multiple sittings. But not anymore!! Experience Painless Single-sitting Root Canal treatment at the comfort of your home with Dental Bee- Dentist At Home.

WHAT IS RCT?

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT is cleaning the infected root canals of the tooth and filling them with a biologically inert/biocompatible material. This saves the tooth from further damage and relieves tooth pain.

WHY DENTAL BEE FOR RCT?

In many cases, Root Canal Treatment is completed in multiple sittings. One will need to book multiple appointments and spare time from their busy schedule to travel for each sitting. What if you don’t have to travel at all? That’s where Dental Bee comes in.

We will carry along all the portable equipment necessary for the treatment of the root canal. All of our instruments are sterilized. After the treatment, all disposable items are removed.

Moreover, you will be treated by our expert dentists so chances are, your root canal treatment will be completed in one sitting.

Being aware of the ongoing pandemic, the dentists make health a priority by wearing a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) kit while treating patients at home. All the treatment will be done while following strict Covid Protocols.

The best part is you get dentistry at home.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1- WHEN RCT IS NEEDED?

Any long-standing cavity or injury to the pulp (the vital part of the tooth which contains the blood vessels and nerves) can lead to the infection in the pulp, causing unbearable pain. That is when Root Canal Treatment is needed.

2- CAN RCT BE COMPLETED IN ONE SITTING?

Yes. In most cases, it is possible to get your root canal treated within one sitting, considering if there is no accumulation of pus around the infected teeth. If however, there is a serious tooth infection, a dentist might take another 2 or 3 appointments/ days to complete the RCT process. Hence the root canal cost will be reasonable.

3- IS ROOT CANAL TREATMENT PAINFUL?

No. The treatment is completely painless. As with many dental procedures, the root canal dentist will first use reliable anesthesia to numb your affected tooth and the area surrounding it before starting the root canal treatment process.

4- HOW LONG DO THE TEETH TAKE TO HEAL?

After the completion of the root canal treatment, it will take at least 2-5 days for the treated tooth to heal. Patients might experience some pain after the anesthesia wears off which can be treated with the medicines that will be prescribed to them.

5- WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF NOT GETTING A ROOT CANAL TREATMENT?

Whether there is pain or no pain on the infected teeth, the consequences of avoiding the treatment are severe. If you don’t feel the pain, it doesn’t mean the tooth has healed itself but rather the nerves inside the tooth have died, thus spreading the infection all around the area.

So what happens when the infection grows? It spreads across the tissues, gums, and jaw leading to a formation of pus. In the worst-case scenario, the infection will spread wide enough to cause heart disease or stroke.

Symptoms of an infected root canal.

Toothache- It is the most common symptom that is associated with infected root canals. The pain can be mild or severe, depending on the condition of the tooth. It will worsen with time if not treated in due time. So much so that one will feel pain while biting food.
